🏦 N°1: Banks
In Madrid, during the summer, banks open at 8:15/30 am and close at 2:30 pm all week, except ING Direct which is open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm non stop. However, during the winter time, banks stay open a little bit longer.
🏤 N°2: Post Office
During the summer, all week you can go to the post office most of the time from 8.30 to 2.30 pm, a few open at 10:00 am and close 4:00 pm but during the weekend, you’ll find them closed. During the winter, from Monday to Friday, post offices are open from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Then, on Saturday they open at 9:30 am and close at 1:00 pm.
🏪 N°3: Supermarket
In the city, supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi, El Corte Ingles etc are open all week from around 8:00 am and close between 10:00 pm and midnight.

In Madrid, supermarkets also open at 9:00 am and close between 9:30 and 10:00 pm. A lot of supermarkets as well close on Sundays but you can find some which stay open such as DIA, Mercadona or Carrefour that you can find easily in every district, and in your neighborhood for sure!
However, you can find supermarkets, minimarkets, groceries stores in Madrid which are open 24 hours everyday but also partially open during the night until 05:30 am.

💇N°4: Hair Salon
In Madrid, most hair salons open between 10:00 am and 11:00 am and close mostly between 8:00 and 9:00 pm during the week. Some of them also open on Saturday but either they open one hour later than usual or close one hour before.

Pharmacies’ open hours are variable in Madrid. If some of them are open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm all week, you will also find pharmacies which are always open 24 hours!
