  • Read the book you’ve been telling yourself you’d read for a good amount of time.

  • Learn a new language with an online course! Duolingo is an app that can help you with this.

  • Check up on your friends and family, especially those you haven’t spoken with in a long time. At times of crisis, it is especially important to look after one another, even if it’s through a quick call or chat.

  • Work up your creative side and learn a new skill! Be it painting, editing photos and videos, learning an instrument, journalling, or any method of artistic expression.

  • Repair broken items around the house, or see if anything needs special maintenance.

  • Learn a new cooking recipe! Pinterest and Youtube have great recipes to imitate, or maybe even create your own.

  • Meditate. At times like this, inner peace is vital when there is external chaos. Try sitting down upright with your eyes closed and palms facing upward, then focus on every breath. Headspace is a great app for practicing meditation!

  • Convert the living room into a movie theatre – grab some blankets and watch award-winning films. Critique them!

  • Many museums around the world have online tours, take some time to check some out! A quick Google search will land you many options to choose from, including Musee d Orsay in Paris and the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.

  • Tidy up your house a la Marie Kondo on Netflix. Watch the series and get inspired to only keep things that “spark joy.”

  • Take this time to introspect and reflect. Ask yourself questions like: What are some things I want to change in my day-to-day life? Which of them can I do now during the quarantine?

  • Start a daily quarantine diary of the things you’re doing to keep yourself occupied – it might be interesting to look back to in the future.

  • Tap in your inner child and bring out those board games on your top shelf.

  • And if you’re still incredibly bored with nothing more to do, write us a message and we will be more than happy to talk to you.
