The transport (flight) to and from Marrackech is not included in the trip price. You have to book your own flight to Marrakech on May 2nd and back to Madrid on May 6th.

Itinerary

First Day: Airport of Marrakech - Hotel en Marrakech.

At the arrival time of the plane, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the Marrakech airport exit with a sign and they will transfer you to the hotel.

Depending on the time of your arrival, you will have the possibility of having a first contact with the city (you can arrive at any time).

Accommodation in Marrakech: Hotel Le Grand Imilchil or a similar one. Double rooms with breakfast included.

Second Day: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate - Las Gargantas del Dades

Around 8:00 AM, we will leave in the direction of Ouarzazate towards the port Tizi N`Tichka, which reaches its maximum height at 2,260 meters above sea level.

This day we will visit the argan oil cooperative, as well as the famous fortified town Ait Ben Haddou where several well-known films have been recorded, such as: Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penelope Cruz, and more.

We will eat in the town and continue the trip to Ouarzazate, which is considered the great gateway to the desert. We will continue towards the Valle de las Rosas (The Valley of Roses), passing through the large palm grove of Skoura and Boumalne until we reach the Gargantas del Dades (The Dades Gorges).

We will end this intense and beautiful day with dinner and accommodations at Hotel La Gazelle du Dades or a similar one. Triple / quadruple rooms. Includes: Dinner and breakfast.

Third Day: Valle Del Dadés – Mell Aab – Dunas De Merzouga – Night in the middle of the Desert.

Breakfast is around 8:00 AM. After visiting the Gargantas del Dades (The Dades Gorges), we will continue along the road where you will be able to see many beautiful Kasbahs.

We will go to one of the points where they will offer us the typical Berber dresses, we can also take photos and buy turbans.

From there, we will continue on our way into the desert until we reach the impressive Dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Once we arrive, we will have some free time to rest.

We will leave our suitcases and anything else we do not need in the desert at the hotel. We can carry a small backpack with water, toothbrushes, sleeping clothes, and a camera or cell phone to take photos.

This is the time for the camel ride. In a camel caravan, we will cross the desert for approximately an hour and a half until we reach the camp where the Haimas are located. Before dinner, we will have the opportunity to climb the dunes that are near the camp and have tea, enjoying the peace and quiet in the atmosphere. Then, we will savor an authentic and typical Berber dinner and we will also enjoy the music of the drums.

We will sleep in the campsite (Akabar Luxury Desert Camp) under the spectacular sky full of stars.

Double “Jaimas”, dinner and breakfast will be included.

Fourth Day: Sahara desert - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

We will wake up before dawn to enjoy the sunrise, we will have breakfast and begin the trip to Erfoud, crossing the arid yet interesting pre-desert landscapes until we reach Tinejdad.

We are going to have lunch at Kalaat m’gouna. In the afternoon we will cross the High Atlas, and we will arrive in Marrakech around 8:00 PM (20:00 PM).

Transfer to the Hotel: Hotel Le Grand Imilchil or a similar one.
Double rooms with breakfast are included.
